Journey through the bible
We are starting to look at the bible, its composition, its history, and will help us understand its significance and how it has guided and shaped the lives of millions of people through the centuries.
The series continues in the new year on Tuesday afternoons starting at 1:30pm. We meet in the Norfolk room and all are welcome.

Third Thursday Talk
On Thursday 16th October at 7:30pm we are delighted to have another opportunity to meet Ian Bunting and Tyke who are members of the Edale Mountain Rescue Team. Ian will talk about his work and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. This will be followed by refreshments. If you remember Ian and Tyke were due to speak to us earlier in the year, but were called out to a rescue on the evening they were due to come. Please invite friends to what will be a very interesting evening.

Prayer Breakfast
Each Monday at 7.45am there is a Prayer Breakfast held in the Norfolk Room the aim of which is, for those who are able, to gather together and pray for those who are involved in all the various Christian activities which take place in and around the city centre. These might include those who work for Christian Aid, SCCCC, SCEC, Churches Together in South Yorkshire, the Industrial Mission, the various Chaplains at the universities and other locations, the Wilson Carlyle College, ASSIST, the Archer Project, Ben’s Place, St Wilfred’s etc etc. The breakfast will not be elaborate but will be adequate and we hope that there will be those who feel moved to be part of this activity either regularly or “as and when”. Even if you can’t be there please recognise this as an activity which Central is engaged in and therefore which involves us all.
