Once again central is running Snooker Snax. It is open from 9am to 1.30pm Monday 20th April to Saturday 9th May. This runs in the Norfolk room and provides somewhere for those coming to the Snooker at the Crucible to sit and have a cup of coffe and light refreshments. It is very popluar and we have many folk who have become regulars over the years.

Following our last, very successful, Sunday Lunch we are heading back to the Fairway. The cost is £5.99 for the Carvery. If you don't have transport, speak to one of the elders and we will arrange to get you there, and back.

We are starting to look at the bible, its composition, its history, and will help us understand its significance and how it has guided and shaped the lives of millions of people through the centuries.
The series continues on Tuesday afternoons starting at 1:30pm. We meet in the Norfolk room and all are welcome.

Each Monday at 7.45am there is a Prayer Breakfast held in the Norfolk Room the aim of which is, for those who are able, to gather together and pray for those who are involved in all the various Christian activities which take place in and around the city centre. These might include those who work for Christian Aid, SCCCC, SCEC, Churches Together in South Yorkshire, the Industrial Mission, the various Chaplains at the universities and other locations, the Wilson Carlyle College, ASSIST, the Archer Project, Ben’s Place, St Wilfred’s etc etc. The breakfast will not be elaborate but will be adequate and we hope that there will be those who feel moved to be part of this activity either regularly or “as and when”. Even if you can’t be there please recognise this as an activity which Central is engaged in and therefore which involves us all.

The Easter story, acted out on the streets of Sheffield. It begins at the top of Fargate, moves to the Town Hall, then Barkers Pool and finishes in the Peace Gardens.
